FACILITY RULES | DOCK DIVING POOL RENTALS.

We’re so happy that you’ve set some time to come play with your dog! Please review the rules below to keep everyone safe and happy!

DOGS >>

All dogs MUST be leashed at ALL times unless they are on the dock. You must keep your dog under control and use a 4-6 foot lead. NO FLEXI LEADS/RETRACTABLE LEASHES are permitted. If your dog(s) jump(s) up on the pool or are otherwise destructive, we will ask that you leash them up during your session, and you may be asked to leave.

Do not allow your dogs to greet our personal dogs through the fence if they are in the fenced yard. The fenced area is OFF LIMITS to all clients. Please avoid allowing your dogs to pee on the fencing - there are plenty of other things to pee on!

Dogs are not permitted to “visit” our chickens. We know you’re curious about the birds, and your dog probably is too, but please do your best to let them be on their own. Our flock is very curious, but they appreciate not being chased by strange dogs! If you allow your dog to harass the livestock, you may be asked to leave with no refund/credit. All dogs must have proof of current Rabies vaccination (titers are accepted).

Dogs should be clean, brushed, and have nails trimmed to protect the pool liner.

Female dogs in heat are NOT allowed at the facility.

All dogs are expected to be non-aggressive towards other dogs or humans. If your dog shows signs of aggression, we reserve the right to ask you to leave. If you have a reactive dog, please let us know up front so that we can do our best to accommodate your dog’s needs.

For the safety of your dog, we do not allow choker, shock, or prong collars on the dock. Tools may be worn from the car to the dock, and otherwise on the premises.

Finally, please refrain from administering external flea/tick medicine within 5 days of your appointment.

HANDLERS >>

All toys being used in the pool must be floatable and non edible. For the 2021 season, we do not have any toys available to borrow.

For 2021, we have a limited size range of canine life vests available to use from our own personal dogs. Please plan to bring your own flotation device if you think your dog needs a little extra help, or confidence on the dock/in the pool!

No food on the dock (human or dog treats), please!

Dogs are not allowed to be pushed into the pool. All dogs must go up on the dock and into the pool on their own free will. If any member of Atlas Canine feels that a handler is mistreating the dog in any way, we will ask you to leave without a refund/credit. No exceptions! We have a zero tolerance policy.

There is a maximum of 2 dogs and 2 handlers on the dock at one time.

Handlers are permitted into the pool if your dog is new and needs additional encouragement or help with swimming. Humans are expected to use the ladder to get in and out - do not use the ramp to enter/exit the pool.

Make sure your dog has pottied before getting on the dock. It is your responsibility to monitor your dog at all times and give potty-breaks as needed during your appointment. If your dog defecates anywhere on the dock or in the pool, you will be charged a $75 clean up/sanitation fee.

ALWAYS clean up after your dog. There is a trash can for poop bags near the porta-john. DO NOT ABANDON YOUR POOP BAGS. This makes us very, very sad when we mow over them. If we find that you are not cleaning up after your dog, you will not be allowed to return to Atlas Canine for any facility rentals and/or classes. Again, no exceptions.

Children 5 and older are always welcome on the dock with a parent. No one under 18 should be on the dock without adult supervision. We reserve the right to ask the child to exit the dock if we feel there is a safety risk to the dog or child. Children must be able to follow instruction and obey the rules of the facility.

No Smoking on the dock OR near the pole barn. No Food/Drinks are allowed on the dock or in/near the pool.

have fun & don’t forget a towel - you will get wet!

Any violation of these rules can result in no refund or credit of that session and possible ban from using the facility in the future. Atlas Canine, LLC reserves the right to turn away anyone, for any reason, at any time.
